I'm very pleased to announce that an article I wrote entitled, " The Kirby - Desai Scale: A Proposed Scale to Assess Tattoo-removal Treatments" has been published in The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology. The Kirby - Desai scale is the first study that quantifies the number of tattoo treatments needed to remove a tattoo. I suspect that it will be quickly adopted by all members of the medical community who offer laser tattoo removal services and its use during an initial consultation will become standard of care.
